Who We Are
The Oyo State Scholarship Board which was Moribund for more than twenty five (25) years was resuscitated on Wednesday 21st May 2008, by His Excellency, the former Executive Governor of Oyo State, Otunba (Dr.) Christopher Adebayo Alao-Alaka.

To assist indigent but brilliant Oyo State Students financially to alleviate their financial burdens in tertiary institutions nation-wide. To encourage academic excellent and ensure that no child is left out of receiving sound education.

Mission
Promoting academic of Oyo State Students through financial assistance in terms of bursary/scholarship awards in order to restore, transform and reposition the education sector in Oyo State.

Mandate
Award and pay Scholarship to deserving students who are indigenes of Oyo State in Tertiary Institution.Mobilize the Private Sector to contribute to Scholarship Programmes and generating money through them.Read More
